The Cygnus Series Automated Breast Ultrasound Workstation is the dedicated diagnostic and image-management component of the Cygnus 3D Automated Breast Ultrasound System. It receives and processes volumetric breast ultrasound data acquired from the scanning station, providing high-resolution 2D and 3D image visualization for clinical interpretation. The workstation supports image analysis, measurement, annotation, data storage, and diagnostic report generation, allowing scanning and diagnosis to be performed separately for a more efficient breast-imaging workflow.

Clinical Application
The Cygnus Workstation is used in breast imaging, breast cancer screening, and diagnostic ultrasound for reviewing and interpreting automated 3D breast ultrasound examinations. It enables clinicians to evaluate breast tissue and identify, characterize, and document suspicious lesions across multiple imaging planes. The system is particularly suited to standardized breast-volume imaging and can support the assessment of dense breast tissue, breast masses, nodules, and other abnormalities, as well as longitudinal comparison of breast imaging studies.
